ABOUT
I am a film director based in London. I am focused on making good work that does good in the world. I think deeply about story craft; about the ideas being baked into a story, about making the most of cinematic tools to elevate the experience and effectiveness of the piece. My roots are in documentary film, art and anthropology, but I have enjoyed years of expeditions into more commercial work, building up experience from volume stage to vehicle shoots, interviews to actuality.

A formative experience straight out of film school was working for a few years as the Creative Director of Film for electric vehicle start up, Arrival. My brief was to establish a visual storytelling identity for the brand, to invite the world to understand their ambition, their vibe and their story as it was unfolding. Nine months later they were the highest valued British start-up to ever float on the American stock exchange - with no vehicles yet but a lot of videos to get the ideas across. Here I learned that a good story well told can create a lot of value and bring about tangible positive change in the world.
